The Association successfully concluded and signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between Mau Tea Multipurpose Co-operative Society and the Kenya Plantation and Agricultural Workers Union (KPAWU). The agreement covers the period 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2026.
The two-year CBA provides for a single-digit wage increment for each of the two years, reflecting a balanced approach that takes into account both the prevailing economic environment and the welfare of employees.
This achievement underscores the continued spirit of collaboration between employers and the Union in promoting fair labour practices and sustainable industrial relations within the agricultural sector.
