The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the Agricultural Employers’ Association (AEA), on behalf of Advance Packaging Manufacturers Ltd, and the Kenya Union of Printing, Publishing, Paper Manufacturers, Pulp and Packaging (KUPRIPUPA) has been successfully concluded and signed.
The negotiations were completed after two constructive meetings held in Nairobi, where both parties demonstrated goodwill, openness and commitment to achieving a balanced and mutually beneficial agreement.
The new CBA reflects improved terms and conditions of employment, including adjustments in Wages, Housing allowance, Leave travelling allowance, Leave days and provisions under the Death of an employee.
The Association extends its appreciation to the management of Advance Packaging Manufacturers Ltd and the leadership of KUPRIPUPA for their dedication and constructive engagement throughout the negotiation process. Their collaborative approach ensured a smooth conclusion that upholds mutual respect and industrial harmony within the sector.
This successful conclusion underscores the Association’s continued dedication to promoting fair labour practices, fostering strong employer-employee relations and ensuring industrial harmony within the manufacturing sector.
