The Association today commenced its two-day Employment and Labour Forum in Naivasha, officially opened by the Association Chairman, Mr. Kirimi Mpungu.
The event has brought together over 40 industry professionals from HR, Production and Finance departments across member farms, marking a strong start to the forum.
In his opening address, Mr. Mpungu emphasized the importance of preparing for the evolving world of work. He noted that technology, automation and artificial intelligence continue to reshape workplace operations, making reskilling and digital readiness critical for organisations.
He further highlighted the rising role of labour outsourcing, stating that when implemented responsibly, it can support cost optimisation, efficiency and access to specialised talent, while ensuring adherence to labour laws.
