The Association has successfully concluded negotiations and signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for East African Growers Fresh Produce Ltd covering the period 2025–2027. The two-year agreement was negotiated with the Kenya Plantation and Agricultural Workers Union (KPAWU), resulting in reasonable and balanced terms that are friendly to both the employer and employees.
The signing ceremony took place in Nakuru and was graced by the CEO of the Association Mr. Wesley Siele, EAGA top management, alongside union representatives. The presence of the parties emphasized the importance of continued collaboration and constructive social dialogue within the sector.
The outcome reflects a carefully considered approach that supports employee welfare while taking into account the prevailing economic environment and operational realities facing the employer.
The successful conclusion of this CBA further reinforces the parties’ commitment to promoting stable industrial relations and sustainable growth within the agricultural industry.
