The Agricultural Employers Association (AEA) successfully conducted a two-day Effective Industrial Relations training on 30th–31st July 2026 at Rainforest Farmlands Kenya PLC.
The training equipped participants with practical knowledge and skills to foster harmonious workplace relations and ensure compliance with labour laws. Key areas covered included Foundations of Industrial and Labour Relations, Grievance Handling, the Roles and Functions of Welfare Committees, the Employment Act, Discipline Management, and Leadership & Communication.
The programme provided an interactive platform for participants to enhance their understanding of effective employee relations, strengthen workplace communication, and promote fair and productive labour practices within their organisations. Participants also shared experiences and practical solutions to common industrial relations challenges, reinforcing AEA's commitment to building sound employer-employee relationships across the agricultural sector.
