In a bid to create awareness on abandoned and orphaned kids and for the world to know that children adoption is safe, free and legal, the Association in partnership with its members, friends, families and well wishers took to Mt. Longonot on a hike in its 2022 CSR. The hike was dedicated to the Africa Gospel Church (AGC) Baby Centre and was also meant to raise funds for the children.
AGC Baby Center is a Charitable Children’s Institution that exists to rescue babies between (0-4) years who are abandoned, orphaned or facing violence, offer a temporary home before they are adopted into forever families or placed in foster care.
The institution entirely depends on donations from churches, well-wishers, friends and the community at large for the provision of the needs of the babies. For more details on the AGC Baby Centre please click on the https://agcbabycenter.org/
The climbing was not easy due to the terrain but all more than 120 participants present took the bull by its horns knowing the cause it was meant for by each covering a substantial distance for the babies and majority going all the way to the end.
The Association wishes to thank all the companies represented in the hike and all those who joined at a personal level as it would not have been as successful without them. AAR Healthcare Ltd for their partnership through provision of medical care to the participants by sending a Doctor, a Physiotherapist, a nurse and an ambulance.
The funds will be applied to change lives of the AGC Babies while the awareness created on orphaned and abandoned babies will see many of these babies adopted into forever families or placed in foster care.
