The Association was today privileged to host Alan Stevens, Head of Strategic Engagement IOSH, UK (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), Ms. Nanis Kanana and Mr. Ken Kogei Director Kaileys consortium.
Because health and safety isn’t just down to the experts, IOSH works with a range of organisations to raise awareness – and standards and develop training for businesses and run campaigns that are relevant to millions of working people.
The team having identified the Association as one of the champions of safety in the sector and country at large, visited for purposes of reconnaissance with the sector and seeking ways of collaboration in promotion and capacity building for occupational safety and health.
IOSH’s main roles is to maintain high standards; as the voice of the profession or lobbying governments on policy and law. IOSH approve qualifications for its members and provide guidance, research & development for IOSH resources and in addition, run courses, seminars and events to help IOSH members in their work.
