The Association hosted its 3rd Agricultural Employers' Annual Conference at Sarova Woodlands Hotel in Nakuru under the theme; "Navigating Transformative Landscapes: Sustaining Organizations In An Ever-Changing World,".
The 2 days Conference whose objective was to delve into key topics critical for the long-term sustainability and success of businesses in the face of an ever-evolving environment, saw more than 30 professionals drawn from various sectors and companies attend to address the challenges currently being faced by businesses and foster sustainable growth that is imperative to focus on the holistic well-being of organizations and their workforce.
In her opening remarks, the Chief Guest Ms. Hellen Apiyo; Labor Commissioner indicated that the government continues to put in place measures to ensure that growth and development of all sectors is sustainable, socially responsible and creates decent work opportunities and encouraged employers to embrace changes in the employment landscape especially technology and innovation by understanding its role in reshaping the business landscape and preparing organizations for the future.
The invited speakers that included Hon. Maureen Onyango- Principal Judge, ELRC, Mr. Apollo Kiarii -CEO KTGA, Mr. Kirimi Mpungu-CEO TMC, Coach Jane Mutisya- Director, Career Management Centre, Dr. Kipkirui Langat- TVET DG among other very resourceful professionals helped participants get practical tactics that will improve them in their professions.
Through interactive sessions, case studies, and expert panel discussions, the conference equipped participants with the necessary tools and insights to proactively steer their organizations towards sustained growth and resilience in an era of constant change.
