The Association CEO, Mr. Wesley Siele had a meeting with the Institute of Human Resource Management’s Executive Director, CHRP Quresha Abdullahi at the IHRM Offices in Nairobi to discuss the partnership and areas of collaboration for the year 2023.
Among the issues deliberated on were the CPD Trainings and the roll out of the Compliance Audits Framework that was launched in 2022 by the two bodies.
Members of the Association will continue benefiting from the CPD trainings at subsidized rates courtesy of the MOU signed between the Association and the Institute. We urge members to utilize the opportunity to achieve their full potential and enhance their career growth.
The Compliance Audits Framework will require all workplaces audited on HR standards and once approved for meeting the requirements, a certificate of Compliance will be issued.
The institute which develops relevant standards and procedures setting into motion proper checks and balances necessary in driving positive change in the profession, will duly accredit the Association to conduct the HR Audits within and outside its membership.
The HR Audits will be conducted to identify lapses, shortcomings and gaps in the implementation of HR functions and suggest remedial actions if any.
The Association will be sharing guidelines in due course and dates when the roll out officially kicks off.
The two bodies committed to work together closely for the mutual benefits of their members.
