AEA CEO ATTENDS 112TH ILO CONFERENCE IN GENEVA

The AEA CEO Mr. Wesley Siele is currently attending the 112th International Labour Organisation Conference being held in Geneva Switzerland. The conference brings together the Tripartite ie Employers, Employees and Government at the international level to discuss issues that touch on the employment.

Key among the issues include Fundamental Principles & Rights at work, Decent Work & Care Economy, Biological Hazards, Application Intelligence,  Future of Work, the emerging Artificial Intelligence and the discussion on the report of the Chairperson of the Governing Body.

The world of work is quickly changing and presents challenges to the players. The employers therefore have to keep abreast with changes. The Association will update members on the key learning points and resolutions passed at the ILO.
