AEA DELIVERS FUNDS AND GIFTS DURING ITS 2024 CSR
Tears of joy filled the air as AEA celebrated its 2024 CSR initiative at the Action Not Words Foundation Rescue Centre in Pipeline Nakuru. Members, friends, and well-wishers gathered for a heartfelt ceremony to deliver mobilized funds and non-monetary goods, marking the success of this year’s project.
Representatives from various sectors of the Association played a crucial role in contributing to the cause, ensuring its impactful execution. This event followed a week of awareness-raising, during which the Association organized a hike at Menengai Crater. The hike aimed to highlight the plight of families living in dumpsites, scavenging for survival, and emphasized the urgent need to transform their lives and break the cycle of poverty for vulnerable children.
During the ceremony, Association CEO Mr. Wesley Siele shared his personal journey to inspire the children. He encouraged them to recognize their potential, stating that the future is bright as long as they avoid limiting excuses. He urged the management of the home to continue fostering an environment of acceptance and ambition among the kids.
The Association extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and to the companies represented at the event, particularly for their generous donations in cash and kind. These contributions will help change the lives of the children, while the awareness generated will encourage more individuals to step forward, rescue children, and support their education.
ACTIONS NOT WORDS FOUNDATION is dedicated to supporting children living at Nakuru's GIOTO dumpsite by providing education, healthcare, nutrition, and a safe environment.
