Agricultural Employers Association commonly known as AEA was started in 1962 and registered in 1966 as an Association representing the collective interests of Employers in the Agricultural industry in matters connected with Employment of Labour. The AEA is an affiliate member of KEPSA, KAM and ASNET.
Our client involved in the controlled cultivation and the gentle post-harvest treatment (drying, cleaning, packaging) of medicinal and spice-plants seeks to fill the following vacancy that has arisen in their company:
Vacancy: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with both national and international regulatory requirements with initiative and precision.
- Collaborate with a small team to develop and implement a sustainable quality assurance strategy tailored to our medium-sized pharmaceutical company.
- Work closely with departments to analyze quality issues, coordinate process-related measures, and consistently drive improvements.
- Serve as the point of contact during customer audits, representing our company’s interest.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining key documents and quality control systems.
- Maintain clarity in the face of diverse departmental interests, legal obligations, and economic conditions, acting thoughtfully while mediating and being assertive when needed.
Desired Qualifications, skills and experience;
- Hold a degree in natural sciences or a related field.
- Previous professional experience in quality assurance of 5-10 years .
- Experience in cultivating sensitive specialty crops and their further processing is an advantage.
- Proactive, reliable, flexible, and accustomed to working meticulously, independently, and with a sense of responsibility within a team setting.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
