Agricultural Employers Association commonly known as AEA was started in 1962 and registered in 1966 as an Association representing the collective interests of Employers in the Agricultural industry in matters connected with Employment of Labour. The AEA is an affiliate member of KEPSA, FKE, KAM and ASNET.
Our client based in Naivasha, is seeking a motivated, proactive and eager-to-learn intern to join their team.
POSITION- Logistics and Data Entry Intern
This internship offers a hands-on learning experience in a dynamic work environment where the successful person will gain practical exposure to key aspects of the agricultural and floriculture sector. The ideal candidate should be ready to learn, take initiative and adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities.
Purpose:
To ensure efficient coordination of logistics operations and accurate data management. The role supports smooth flow of goods and documentation and upholds company standards and statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and oversee dispatch and delivery of goods and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on delivery status.
- Prepare and maintain delivery documentation including dispatch notes.
- Prepare Import Permits, Airway bills, Phytosanitory Certificates and Proforma Invoices.
- Data Entry and Reporting
- Enter and maintain accurate operational and logistics data in company systems.
- Compile, analyse and report on stock, dispatch and compliance metrics.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly operational reports.
- Back up key records and ensure confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of certification in export, imports and related permits.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

- Proactive and results-oriented.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership of tasks.
Please Note:
This is an internship position and not a full-time job. The intern will receive a monthly stipend and provided with a house during the internship period that runs for 3 months. However, outstanding performance during the internship may lead to renewal or open up prospects for future employment within the organization.
