The Agricultural Employers Association (AEA) conducted a Human Rights Training for the Black Tulip Group from 8^th –9^th September 2026 at Tropi Flora Farm with subsequent sessions held at Utee Farm on 10^th September 2026 facilitated by Mr. James Mwenda Kenya National Human Rights Commission and Ms. Diana Maina, Legal Officer (AEA)

The training focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of human rights and their application in the workplace. Participants also explored key workplace rights, including freedom from discrimination, freedom of association, collective bargaining, freedom from forced labour and child labour, and fair working conditions.

The Agricultural Employers Association (AEA) conducted a training on Performance Management and Appraisal for supervisors and managers from 7^th -12^th September 2026 in Mulot, Isinya Porini and Isinya HQ flower farms. The Training was facilitated by Mr.Ken Agutu, Retirement and Leadership coach and Mr.Gibson Cheruiyot Head of Finance, Administration and Membership (AEA)

The training focused on strengthening supervisors’ and managers’ understanding of effective performance management, including setting clear and measurable targets, fair performance appraisal, regular feedback, employee coaching, and linking performance to rewards and recognition.
