AEA VISIT MEMBERS IN ISINYA/KAJIADO/ATHIRIVER REGION

The Research and Development Officer who is also incharge of Membership visited members in the above region to discuss a forum in the region , challenges facing them and the point of AEA entry and involvement as well as discuss AEA services and find out services they can take up, including the soon to be announced Employers Annual Conference in Mombasa.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS AND WORKERS MEETINGS

In a bid to enhance industrial harmony, the Association organized and attended workers meetings at Finlays Botanicals and Sololo Agriculture in Kericho and Eldoret respectively. The meetings which had been requested for by the union Branch secretaries had a similar agenda of electing shopfloor representatives, activities that went on well with an Association representative in attendance overseeing the process.  

TRAINING ON GENDER MAINSTREAMING AT THE WORKPLACE AT OL NJOROWA LTD

The Association continues to offer quality trainings on various issues and to workplace committees like Welfare, Gender and shopfloor representatives. A two days training on Roles of Gender committee at the workplace was conducted at Ol Njorowa Ltd in Naivasha that saw more than 20 committee members being taken through their roles, sexual harassment, counselling, leadership skills, Gender laws among other aspects.

The Association thanks the company for always considering to ofer trainings.

AEA ATTENDS KRA -ICPAK STAKEHOLDERS FORUM AT KRA BOARDROOM IN NAKURU

The Association was represented in a forum held in Nakuru convened by KRA in collaboration with ICPAK members to discuss issues affecting them among them ETIMS and related matters.
